Bartolomé was born in Portugal the year 1450, he was the portuges that reached the south limit of the african coast, he sailed from Lisbon with tow caravels and one exclusive ship for nourishment he left the nourishment ship in the occidental coast of Africa, a year later he reached the Cabo de Buena Esperanza and continued till the Great Fish River, he wanted to continue but the crew force him to return back to Portugal. Because of his succes in the explorations he went with Basco Da Gama in the first part of the explorations to the Indis, he also comanded the fleetof ships of Pedro Cabral in the explorations in wich portugues reached Brasil.

Or John Cabot was born in Italy the 1450 and died in 1498, when Cristopher Colombus came back of what they thougth that was The Indies John Cabot decided to find a faster route to get to the supoust Indies so he offer this to Enrique VII of Great Britain, he said that the fastest route was through the northen part of the the Atlantic Ocean, he sailed from Bristol the 1497 in the Matthew a small but resistant ship he arrived to what is now know as Canada probably to Terranova, the 24 of June of the same year he returned, the 6 of Agoust of 1497 to Bristol, he went on a second voyage with five ships but he never retuned.
